What can webCreator do?

Below you can find some examples of our different functions.
WYSIWYG-editor
In WYIWYG mode you see the pages basically as the visitor will see them. You can browse between your different pages as if you were a visitor. You can also easily edit texts, create links, upload pictures etc.
Sub-sites
You can create an unlimited number of sub-sites, which can all have their own design, structure and contents. Some of them may be password protected and you can use different languages, including for example arabic or chinese.
Image handling
It's very easy handling images with webCreator!
Just pick an image on your computer (or even from a camera), choose how big you want it to be on your web site, and then the image will be resized on your computer before you upload it to the server. You won't have to wait for big files to upload!
Automatic site-maps, etc.
When you create new pages or remove old ones, webCreator will automatically update the files sitemap, sitemap.xml and robots.txt, all important for the search engines. You can also, for every page, specify sitemap prio, sitemap XML change freq, canonical links, robots index/follow, these are also important settings for the search engines.
Automatic redirect of deleted pages
If you remove a page which have been published on the web for a while, there will probably be people who has bookmarked it as a favourite, or there may be other pages which have linked to it. It will also most likely be indexed in the search engines. This means that if someone tries to use one of these links, they will get the error message "This page cannot be found".
If you, when you remove a page, do a so called 301 redirect, you tell the browsers and search engines that this page is now moved to a new address, and the visitor will automatically be forwarded to the new page.
When you remove a page in webCreator, you simply tell to which other page you want to redirect your visitors, and webCreator will do the job automatically!
Design-options
With webCreator you can design your pages in almost any way that you want. You will get a powerful tool in which you can exactly set up where the different elements show up in the different templates, how many columns you want, you can upload or create new style sheets (CSS), create your own header-tags and upload your own javascript functions. And much more!
You also have a simple CSS-editor where you can make quick changes and see the result immediately in a preview window.
Tagging function
webCreators tagging function (additional function) will make it possible to create one or more categories and give them any number of tags. Then you can tag your news and pages and thereby easily create lists of links to your pages.
An example where this might be useful is a newspaper, where you on your starting page might want the 10 latest news all categories, then you have subpages, for example sports or politics, where you list the 10 latest news in these catagories.
Of course there are many more ways of using this function.
